Mpact Productions proudly presents Edward Albee‘s THE ZOO STORY, at Theatre Arts from 10 to 13 April 2025.

THE ZOO STORY a powerful and provocative play written by renowned American playwright Edward Albee. This intense, thought-provoking drama delves deep into themes of isolation, communication, and the complexities of human interaction.
Set in New York City’s Central Park, the story unfolds as two strangers, Peter and Jerry, engage in a seemingly innocent conversation that quickly spirals into something significantly more complex.
Edward Albee is one of America's greatest contemporary playwrights. His exploration of societal disconnect and the human condition is as relevant today as it was when the play first debuted in 1958.
This production is directed by Chris Weare and performed by two talented actors, Michael MacKenzie and Francois Immelman, whose repertoires include a multitude of films.
This production promises to be riveting, with gripping performances and a deeply emotional narrative. THE ZOO STORY is a theatrical experience that will leave you contemplating long after the lights cut to black.
Tickets for performances from 10 to 13 April 2025 can be booked online at https://theatrearts.co.za/show/zoo_story. Please note the production carries an age restriction of 16+ for violence.
